Fuse

• Common fuse rating: 1A, 2A, 3A, 5A, 10A, 13A
• Fuse chosen should have a current rating just slightly higher than the current an electrical appliance will use under normal conditions
• Fuse should be connected to the live wire
  • Ensure that when the fuse blows, the appliance will not stay at a high potential of 240V
