Focusing on a distant object
- Light rays from a distant object enter the eye as almost parallel rays to fall on the Retina
- Retina sends impulses to the brain, which sends impulses to the ciliary muscles
- Ciliary muscles relax. causing the Suspensory Ligament to become taut
- Suspensory Ligament pull on the lens more
- Lens becomes thinner and less curved, causing less refraction of the rays of light
