Forces between 2 Parallel, Current-carrying Conductors

• Conductors with current flowing in the same direction attract
• Conductors with currents flowing in the opposite direction repel
• Forces of attraction or repulsion arises because of the interaction and resultant force of the two magnetic fields due to the currents in the conductors.
• Use Fleming's left-hand rule to check for attraction/repulsion on eaach of the conductor
