Body temperature increase

1. Thermoreceptors detects increase in temperature
2. Hypothalamus also detects increase in blood temperature
3. Receptors sends signal to hypothalamus
4. Hypothalamus send signal to stimulate vasodialation
5. Sweat gland becomes more active, increase in sweat production
6. Decrease metabolic rate
7. More heat loss through infrared radiation and latent heat of vaporisation when water in sweat evaporates
