• Signed between USSR and GR on Aug 1939
• Agreed on division of Poland
• Prevented GR from 2 front war
• No war between both

Anschluss

• Went against Terms of TOV
• Hitler always wanted GR and Austria united

• Used the event to test/train new soldiers
  • Test military strength
• Divert attentions from GR's plans to expand
